Hospital Transport

The City of Snoqualmie charges Basic Life Support (BLS) transport service fees to provide a revenue source to help offset costs of emergency medical services.

Most medical insurance policies - including Medicare and Medicaid - cover transport fees. Residents being transported will not be billed for any portion of the transport fee in excess of the amount paid by the insurer.

The City of Snoqualmie's policy is that the ability to pay for transport is never a condition of transport services. All aspects of pre-hospital service will be provided to all patients without discrimination, including for those with no ability or inadequate means to pay.
