Parks & Recreation Department

The City of Snoqualmie trail system is now open.

With 35 parks and more than 25 miles of trails, recreation opportunities in Snoqualmie are endless. The Parks & Recreation Department manages 35 parks today with more coming in the future. Those parks have something for everyone, from play equipment for the little ones to tennis courts and athletic fields. Many of the parks have facilities available for rental, including fields, picnic shelters and the fabulous view shelter at Snoqualmie Point Park.

Our parks highlight the beauty and vitality of the city, the Snoqualmie Valley and beyond with locations next to the Snoqualmie River, the Northwest Railway Museum and overlooking the Snoqualmie Valley with a view all the way from Snoqualmie Pass to Mount Baker.

Read about the Parks & Recreation Department mission and opportunities for residents and visitors below and throughout the Parks web pages.

Recreation: Sports and Community Activities

The Parks and Recreation Department pulls the community together for events and recreational offerings. The department's main events are the holiday tree lighting, the teen egg hunt and kids' egg hunt and Arbor Day.

The department also partners with vendors to provide programs for youth on City-owned fields, including Skyhawks for sport summer day camps and Kidz Love Soccer. In addition, the department offers fields for rental to various local recreational providers serving the Valley, such as Falls Little League, Snoqualmie Valley Little League, Wildcats Football League and the Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association. Check back often for new offerings or contact your local league representatives.
