No matter what fun looks like to you, Snoqualmie has something to offer! See below for a brief listing of local recreational activities including biking, camping, fishing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding and winter sports. Then get yourself to Snoqualmie and get outside!

BIKING

If you’re looking for a place to bicycle, you have options in Snoqualmie ranging from paved and soft surface trails throughout the city to great forest treks.

CAMPING

Want to get out and really see the beauty of the Snoqualmie Valley? Check out the Interstate 90 Mountains to Sound Greenway link on the U.S. National Forest Campground Guide. Area campgrounds include Denny Creek, Middle Fork and Tinkham. FISHING

Want to find a great fishing spot? You may fish with the appropriate license at the Sandy Cove Park in Snoqualmie.

You may also find great fishing spots in the beautiful Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest. Be sure to follow state fishing rules and regulations.

You may also find great public fishing spots on the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife website, as well as buying your fishing license online. For fishing locations in Snoqualmie, visit the WDFW website and search 'Snoqualmie River'.

HIKING AND CLIMBING

Do you like to get out for a nice walk or a challenging hike? You have a range of options in the Snoqualmie area. Click here for a listing of City of Snoqualmie trails.

The City also enjoys a significant segment of the 31.5-mile Snoqualmie Valley Regional Trail. Click here for a map and access points.

You may also enjoy the Rattlesnake Ledge Hike. The hike begins in the parking lot next to Snoqualmie Point Park. Click here for the map of the hike and surrounding hikes.

Numerous hiking conditions (depending on the weather) also exist in the Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest. Visit the Forest Service webpages for more information.

HORSEBACK RIDING

The City of Snoqualmie has many multi-purpose trails in Snoqualmie Ridge that allow pedestrians, hikers and horseback riders. You may also find maps of King County horseback riding trails by visiting the King County Executive Horse Council website or calling (425) 869-2761.

KAYAKING/RAFTING/CANOEING

You can try your hand at a local paddle in the Snoqualmie Valley area. Information about access points can be found at Riverfacts.com, through The Mountaineers website, or by calling toll-free (800) 573-8484. WINTER SPORTS

In addition to the much-heralded Summit at Snoqualmie, the Snoqualmie area enjoys a wealth of winter sports options. Check out the snowshoe walks from the US Forest Service or through the Washington Hiking Advisor
