Background of the Snoqualmie Community Center

Since the conception of the Snoqualmie Ridge Master Plan Community, there have been plans to construct a Snoqualmie Community Center. The building will be located in Snoqualmie Community Park, 35018 SE Ridge Street, next to Cascade View Elementary School in the open area next to the tennis courts. Those courts will remain. The property at this location was provided by the developers for this purpose.

The Y of Greater Seattle will be responsible for operations and maintenance; therefore, the community center will not rely on any voted bond or voted operating levy . See the operations agreement linked below.

A conceptual site plan-including sites for potential future larger gym, pool, skate park and spray park-floor plan, and schedule is contained in the team’s response to the City’s Request for Proposals (see below). Initial construction will not include a skate park, spray park, pool or league-sized gym.

For more information about the history behind Snoqualmie’s community center, please read the Frequently Asked Questions document linked to below. Other current and historical documents are provided below for reference.
