The City of Snoqualmie has adopted rules regarding park and trail usage to ensure everyone can enjoy the city’s amenities to their fullest. Rules govern usage of parks including field rentals, P-Patches or community gardens, trails and more. Primary rules for all elements of the park and trail system include:
ALCOHOL: No alcohol is allowed unless a special event permit is obtained.
ANIMALS: Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Owners must clean up excrement. Horses are allowed only on multi-purpose trails on Snoqualmie Ridge and in designated areas unless a permit is obtained.
CAMPING: No overnight camping is allowed except through an approved event permit.
CHILDREN: Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children.
EMERGENCIES: For emergencies, please call 911.
FIRES: Fires are allowed only in established fire pits or barbecues.
FIREWORKS: No fireworks are allowed except with an approved special event permit.
HOURS: All parks and trails are only open from dawn to dusk. After or before hours, being in a facility is considered trespassing.
LITTERING: Littering is prohibited. Use trash and recycling receptacles.
NOISE: Amplified music or other sound is disallowed except for permitted special events.
RULES: Please follow specific rules for fields, trails, picnic shelters and other areas.
SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed on athletic fields, sport courts or playgrounds or in picnic shelters, gazebos, restrooms, concession stands or other areas as posted.
VANDALISM: Defacing or damaging park property is prohibited and will be prosecuted. Please contact Snoqualmie Parks & Recreation at (425) 831-5784 to report any damage or other parks issues.
VEHICLES: Parking on grass is prohibited and is only allowed in designated parking areas during regular park hours. No vehicles are allowed on any park property that is not a parking lot, driveway or road.
