A Pre Application Review (PAR) is a free process by which the City identifies all permits and approvals that would be required for a potential development project. This process enables applicants to come in and determine the permitting requirements and potential broad-scale regulatory obstacles prior to committing significant time and resources to a formal development application.
For a Pre-Application Review, applicants are asked to fill out a General Land Use Application together with a description of their intended use and a conceptual site plan of their proposal. PAR requests submitted by Friday will generate a PAR meeting held the following Thursday at 10am, at which time representatives of each City department will review the application. Applicants are invited, but not required, to attend the meeting. Following the meeting, a Pre Application Review letter is sent to the applicant, identifying the applicable permits and approvals required for the project, as well as an estimated deposit for City permit fees and processing costs. Please contact the us if you have any questions regarding this process.
