The city administrator performs and serves as the chief administrative officer. In this capacity, the administrator is responsible for the City's day-to-day operations and the coordination of work among all departments and programs.

Bob is an experienced municipal manager who has served in senior management positions since 1991, including the position of chief administrative officer in three cities.He is known and respected within municipal government for his leadership and management qualities. Bob has a strong background in municipal finance, capital programs development, organizational development and performance-based budgeting.

Bob earned bachelor and master degrees from Mankato State University in urban studies with primary emphasis in city management and planning. He is an active volunteer who regularly participates in community events.

He enjoys numerous family activities with his wife, Jane, and his children, Benjamin and Emma. Bob became a resident of Washington State in August 2004. He is a native Minnesotan - Go Twins and Vikings!
