The City of Snoqualmie has ten advisory boards, commissions, and committees made up of citizen volunteers that advise the City Council on a wide variety of topics and issues. Click on the links at right for more information about the city boards and commissions. Vacancies for these groups occur either through scheduled vacancies (those created by the expiration of a term) or through unscheduled vacancies as a result of resignations.
Parks and Events Commission
The Parks and Events Commission (previously the Parks Board) advises the City Council on the expansion and operation of the city parks and recreational facilities and programs in the overall Recreation Comprehensive Plan for the City. The Parks and Events Commission consists of nine members who are appointed by the Mayor for three-year terms. This commission currently has two openings.
The Parks and Events Commission meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall (38624 SE River Street).
