Seattle Times Becomes Newspaper of Record for Snoqualmie

The City of Snoqualmie Council voted on March 25, 2019 to designate The Seattle Times as the Official Newspaper of Record for publication of City legal notices.

The Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 35A.21.230 requires cities to designate an Official Newspaper of Record for publication of legal notices.

The Snoqualmie Valley Record has provided the necessary services in a satisfactory manner with its weekly publication in the past. City staff determined that the public would be best served with a daily publication of general circulation to provide more-timely effective dates for ordinances and publication of legal notices.

In addition to accessing legal notices in The Seattle Times, they are available on the City of Snoqualmie website in the Document Center in the Notices & Hearings folder, on the Public Notices webpage, and at the Snoqualmie Post Office, 8264 Olmstead Lane SE in downtown Snoqualmie.
