Department of Emergency Management

The Snoqualmie Department of Emergency Management is committed to providing the highest level of preparedness within the City of Snoqualmie to mitigate the effects of natural and man-made emergencies and disasters on life and property. In addition to providing fire and emergency medical services, the Fire Department offers many educational programs and community outreach events.  For more information, please see the resources box or call the Fire Department at 425-888-1551.

Mark has over 25 years in the fire service experience beginning his career in Massachusetts. Most recently, he worked in Southwest Snohomish County serving as Assistant Chief of Operations for Snohomish County Fire District #1.

Mark has a bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. In 2012, Mark received the Chief Fire Officer designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence. He is one of nearly 1,000 chief officers to receive this distinguished international credential.

Driving Directions

From I-90 East - take exit 25.  Turn left unto Snoqualmie Pkwy. Proceed approx. 4 miles (station will be on your left).  Go past station; take first u-turn and turn right into driveway marked "Fire Station."

From Redmond/Fall City - take SR 202 past Snoqualmie Falls.  Go over bridge and turn right onto Snoqualmie Pkwy.  Go approx. 1/8 mile and turn right into driveway marked "Fire Station."
From North Bend/Snoqualmie - take SR 202, go through the town of Snoqualmie.  Turn left onto Snoqualmie Pkwy. Turn right into driveway marked "Fire Station."
