Finance & Administration Department

The Finance & Administration Department is the liaison between the citizens of Snoqualmie and the many City departments. Within Finance & Administration are the offices of Administrative Services, City Clerk, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Utility Billing, Information Technology, and Communications.

This department is managed by the Administrative Services Director.

Debra Whalawitsa has worked for the City of Snoqualmie since 1991---14 years in various accounting positions in Finance, as Deputy City Clerk and as Human Resources Director.  She has served as Administrative Services Director which encompasses Finance, Human Resources, Human Services and Administration since December of 2004. She has her certification in Human Resources from Bellevue College. Prior to working for the City of Snoqualmie, Ms. Whalawitsa was the Town Clerk/Treasurer for the Town of Nespelem, Washington. Previous to that position, she worked in finance and administration for the Colville Indian Housing Authority for 9 years. She has lived in the upper Snoqualmie Valley for 22 years.

Driving Directions

From I-90 East - take exit 25.  Turn left unto Snoqualmie Pkwy. Turn right onto State Route 202 (Railroad Ave SE). Proceed through downtown Snoqualmie. Turn right onto SE River St. Drive one block. City Hall is on the right.

From North Bend on State Route 202 - Approaching downtown Snoqualmie, turn left onto  SE River St. Drive one block. City Hall is on the right.
