Business License Information and Forms


Business Licenses

The City of Snoqualmie requires a city business license and filing of Business and Occupation Taxes from all businesses and vendors who operate in, engage in, or practice any business in Snoqualmie city limits or with the City of Snoqualmie.  This includes home occupations, suppliers, contractors, and sub-contractors. The type of license, license fees, and licensing criteria may vary.

Applications and tax forms are available for download by clicking the links at the top of this page. They are also available at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 SE River Street in downtown Snoqualmie. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, except holidays.

The fee for a Snoqualmie business license  is determined by the number of employees working inside Snoqualmie city limits.

*The “Fire Safety Inspection Fee” is in addition to the business license fee and is applicable to businesses located inside Snoqualmie City limits.  Home Occupation businesses are exempt from the “Fire Safety Inspection Fee.”

Business licenses expire each December 31. (Fees are not pro-rated or refundable.) The license is non-transferable. A new owner requires a new license. The license must be posted at the place of business.

1st Quarter: January-March, Due Date is April 30
2nd Quarter: April-June, Due Date is July 31
3rd Quarter: July-September, Due Date is October 31
4th Quarter: October-Decmeber, Due Date is January 31

Business licenses are also available on a temporary basis for booths at special events, roadside sales, door-to-door solicitations*, and other cases. Applications are available for download by clicking the link at the top of this page. They are also available at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 SE River Street in downtown Snoqualmie. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, except holidays.
