City Attorney

The City of Snoqualmie Legal Department includes the city attorney and the city prosecutor. They are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council.

The city attorney is the City's general legal counsel. He advises all elected and appointed officials and all City departments. He drafts or approves as to form all legislation that comes before the city council, reviews all contracts, and represents the City in all civil litigation in court and before administrative agencies.

The city prosecutor prosecutes all violations of City ordinances, advises the Police Division, and is the designated backup to the city attorney.
