The City of Snoqualmie offers a number of quality park facilities that can be reserved for private and public special events and uses. The following section describes the parks available for rentals, and an overview of the application process. You may also download the park brochure here SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT A Special Event Permit is required for any organization that wishes to reserve a park facility for more than an eight (8) hour period, any event that restricts the public from vehicular use of a street or park space, any event that might affect normal operations for any city department, any event that may create any positive or negative impacts for local businesses or the City of Snoqualmie, or any event in which alcohol will be served. The fee for applying for a Special Event Permit is $25. Thirty (30) days advance notice is required for approval. A State Banquet License is required of any group serving alcohol at an event. Licenses are available at all Washington State Liquor Stores. (Download Special Event Permit) CITY OF SNOQUALMIE BUSINESS LICENSE A City of Snoqualmie Business License is required of any group acting as a vendor or selling concessions on City of Snoqualmie property. FIELD AND FACILITY RENTAL A Park Rental Application is needed for any organization or individual wanting to reserve use of any sports field, park and/or picnic shelter for less than an eight (8) hour period. Fourteen (14) days notice is required for approval. (Download Park Rental Application) NON DISCRIMINATION IN ATHLETICS PROGRAMS POLICY On January 11, 2010, the Snoqualmie City Council passed a policy prohibiting discrimination in community athletics. The policy is mandated by state law and is intended to promote gender equity in community athletics, including scheduling of fields and facilities. Click here to read the policy document.
