Household hazardous wastes are leftover materials that have Danger, Warning, or Caution on the label. Household hazardous waste is banned from local landfills and should not be put in your garbage can.
Household hazardous wastes can be dropped off at designated King County sites or at the roving Wastemobile. To find the
schedule for the Wastemobile, Hazardous Waste disposal locations, and recycling information, or to get approval for large quantities, visit the
King County Hazardous Waste website or call the Household Hazards Line at 206-296-4692. All King County residents can use the Haz sites and the Wastemobile.
