Human Resources
The goal of the Human Resource Department is to provide a personnel management system within the City of Snoqualmie that provides equitable and uniform treatment of all employees so that we may provide leadership and support a great workforce for the City of Snoqualmie. 

We take care of all human resources functions. These include recruitment, selection, employee relations, benefit administration. training and retention of employees and assure that policies, procedures and practices are implemented in a timely and equitable manner, in compliance with employment law. We also oversee the wellness program for the employees.

Organizational Role
Human Resources as a part of the Administration Division, develops, manages and administers a variety of programs for the City.

Civil Service
Police Officers and Firefighters are hired under the authority of the Civil Service Commission.  This Commission ensures that these Public Safety employees are hired on the basis of merit, and disciplined/terminated for cause.
