Snoqualmie is best known as the home of Snoqualmie Falls, which attracts visitors from around the world with its spectacular 268-foot cascade over granite cliffs into the lower Snoqualmie River.
This small town offers spectacular scenery, abundant recreation, special events year-round, and attractions for all interests. Located only 25 miles east of Seattle, it marks the halfway point to Snoqualmie Pass and the gateway to Eastern Washington.

Landmarks and Attractions
The Northwest Railway Museum is located at the Snoqualmie Depot in downtown Snoqualmie. It is the largest railway museum in Washington State with artifacts, locomotives, and antique railway cars. The museum offers scenic train excursions between Snoqualmie and the city of North Bend along a five-mile stretch of historic railway. There are many special events throughout the year including Day Out with Thomas the Tank Engine, the Santa Train, Halloween Train, and more.
A landmark of Snoqualmie, the Salish Lodge & Spa was founded in 1919 and overlooks Snoqualmie Falls. It has won many awards from top travel publications. This historic lodge features elegant rooms with special amenities, a luxury spa, and restaurants offering culinary adventures.
The Snoqualmie Casino is the closest casino to Seattle and the East King County. It offers dining, live enertainment, and a conference venue.
For more than 70 years, the annual Snoqualmie Railroad Days festival has been the biggest event of the year. Come out for the home town celebration recognizing Snoqualmie's history as a railroad and logging town. Enjoy the grand parade, the children's Field of Fun, live music, trailer car rides, a fun run (10K, 5K and 1K), festival booths and food, and a good time for all ages!
