Public Works Projects

The City of Snoqualmie is a dynamic and growing community. There are many projects - large and small - that are in the works and being managed by various city departments. Following are some of the many projects taking place throughout Snoqualmie. Please click on a project's title to learn more.

Stormwater Pond Sediment Removal (September 8 through mid-October 2016)
Over the next few weeks, Clearcreek Contractors, LLC will be working to remove accumulated sediments from six (6) stormwater ponds in the City.  This work will entail dewatering (pumping) the ponds followed by removal of sediment utilizing an excavator.  During this effort, residents can expect construction noise between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.  Pumps will be powered by silenced generators and will run 24 hours/day to maintain dry conditions.

Work is scheduled to begin on September 8 or 9 at Douglas 2 pond with all work anticipated to be complete by mid-October 2016.

Locations for the Sediment Removal Project include the following ponds:  Douglas 1, Douglas 2, Osprey, Kinsey, Heather, and Isley 2.  Click hear for locations.
