Field and Facility Rental Guidelines

The City of Snoqualmie offers a number of quality park facilities that can be reserved for private and public special events and uses.  The following section describes the parks available for rentals, and an overview of the application process. You may also download the park brochure here, which includes a map of Snoqualmie’s parks and the fee schedule.

FIELD AND FACILITY RENTAL
A Park/Ball Field Rental Application is needed for any organization or individual wanting to reserve use of any sports field, park and/or picnic shelter for exclusive use of less than eight (8) hours. Longer reservations require a special event permit. Fourteen (14) days notice is required for approval of a Park/Ball Field Rental Application.  (Download Park Rental Application)

FIELDS/SPORT COURTS AVAILABLE
The City of Snoqualmie has many soccer, football, and baseball/softball fields available for practice and game rentals. Please review the information on available fields below or click on the links to the right for more about specific parks. Games and practices generally do not require Special Events Permit but do require an approved Park/Ball Field Rental Application.

  • Centennial Fields: one full-size soccer/football and three full-size softball/baseball
  • Snoqualmie community park on Ridge Street: two full-size soccer

SPECIAL EVENTS
Plan ahead for your wedding, big company picnic or other special event! A Special Event Permit is required for any organization that wishes to reserve a park facility for more than an eight (8) hour period, any event that restricts the public from vehicular use of a street or park space, any event that might affect normal operations for any city department, any event that may create any positive or negative impacts for local businesses or the City of Snoqualmie, or any event in which alcohol will be served.

Events with attendance of 25 or more for a min-park (up to one acre), 50 or more for a larger neighborhood park (two to 10 acres) or 100 or more for a community park (more than 10 acres) will require a special event permit.

TIPS ON PARKS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS
Following are short descriptions of various parks and their typical uses for special events. For more information on a specific park, click on the links to the right. The fee schedule is in the parks brochure.

  • Snoqualmie Point Park includes a shelter perfect for picnicking, restrooms and an open-air amphitheater with a stunning view of the Snoqualmie Valley and the Cascades stretching from Snoqualmie Pass to Mount Baker—a favorite for weddings, large family reunions, company picnics and festivals.
  • Centennial Fields is perfect for community festivals, family reunions, high school reunions, wedding and baby showers or baseball/softball tournaments. The park includes restrooms, two barbecue pits and picnic shelter as well as top-notch athletic fields.
  • Railroad Park in historic Snoqualmie has a charming gazebo and surrounding picnic tables. Located next to the Northwest Railway Museum on SR 202, this park gets a lot of foot traffic and is great for community events.
  • Riverview Park includes a picnic shelter, restrooms, play equipment and a basketball court—a great place for that company picnic, birthday parties or family barbecues.
  • Community Park on Ridge Street is a full-service park with parking, picnic tables, restrooms, play equipment, fields and basketball and tennis courts. The park is perfect for games, sports camps and community events including fun runs and end of season/year-end celebrations.
  • Sandy Cove Park is great for a quiet gathering in a more natural setting highlighting the beauty of the river and includes an open grassy area, picnic tables, two horseshoe pits. It’s great for a casual picnic or gathering.
  • Whitaker Park offers fabulous views and connection to the Deep Creek Trail, as well as a picnic table. It’s a great jumping-off point for a small group of friends or board of a community group wanting to follow up a nice potluck lunch with a healthy trail walk.
