The City of Snoqualmie is committed to protecting the health of our residents and the environment through sound solid waste and recycling programs.


Solid Waste Collection (Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Waste)

Allied Waste provides regularly scheduled curbside collection of garbage, yard waste, and recycling. To set up or change service, please contact Allied Waste directly at 425-392-6651.

Garbage Transfer Station

The nearest solid waste transfer station is the Cedar Falls Drop Box located at 16925 Cedar Falls Road SE in North Bend. For more information about the transfer station hours, fees, recycling services, and restrictions, visit the King County Solid Waste Division webpage for the Cedar Falls Drop Box. If you have questions, please contact the King County Solid Waste Division directly at 206-296-4466.

Yearly special recycling collection events are offered by the City of Snoqualmie in coordination with King County and our neighboring Snoqualmie Valley cities. Special event dates and times will be provided on the city website and emailed to those on the city news distribution list. Yard and Food Waste Recycling Program

Yard and food waste drop-off is available periodically for residents of the City of Snoqualmie. Dates and times for these events are posted on the city website and emailed to those on the city news distribution list. Home Composting

Home composting can save you time and money. Brochures about composting, worm bins, and mulches are available at the Public Works Department at 38194 SE Stearns Road, just off Millpond Road, between 7am and 4pm.

Household Hazardous Waste

Household hazardous waste drop-off is offered by King County at specific King County fixed disposal sites and periodically throughout the year in Snoqualmie. For dates and times of Snoqualmie drop offs and drop-off requirements, visit the King County Hazardous Waste Management website. Special event dates and times will be provided on the home page of this website.

Read more about disposing of household hazardous waste. Remember, it is banned from local landfills and should not be put in your garbage can.
