2008 Bond Proposition Summary - Community Center

On August 11, 2008, the Snoqualmie City Council voted unanimously to submit to the voters of Snoqualmie a proposition that would authorize the City to issue general obligation bonds to construct and equip a community center. The facility would be 30,000 square feet and would include a gymnasium and pool.

The voting results were 54% yes. However, to pass, the proposition must have received no less than a 60% majority of voters rather than a simple majority. Therefore, the bond proposal failed in 2008.
