R.A.D. Self-Defense Class

This self-defense course uses the nationally recognized Rape Aggression Defense System (R.A.D.) teaching strategies against various types of assault using proven methods, including avoidance, risk reduction, crime prevention, and hands-on tactics. 

The course is open to women ages 16 and up who live or work in Snoqualmie or North Bend. Snoqualmie Police Corporal Nigel Draveling and retired Officer Dave Bond are certified instructors of the RAD courses. 

The course consists of four sessions (a total of 12.5 hours) held at the Cascade Covenant Church, 13225 436th Ave. SE in North Bend.

Participants must attend all four sessions

  • Wednesday, March 25, 6-9 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 26, 6-9 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 1, 6-9 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 2, 6:00-9:30 p.m.
Cost of the course is $30, payable by cash or check the first day of class.
