Police officers are hired under the authority of the City of Snoqualmie Civil Service Commission, which ensures that public safety employees are hired on the basis of merit, and disciplined or terminated for cause.
Continuous testing is conducted for Entry-Level Police Officers and Lateral/Exceptional Entry Police Officers.
Entry-Level Police Officer applicants must test with Public Safety Testing, which will conduct the written and physical agility tests and then send passing scores to the Snoqualmie Civil Service Examiner.
Lateral/Exceptional Entry Police Officer applicants must send their completed application and supporting documents directly to the Snoqualmie Civil Service Examiner. Applications and supporting documents can be sent via postal mail, email, fax, or delivery. Public Safety Testing will conduct the physical agility tests and then send passing scores to the Snoqualmie Civil Service Examiner. See submission information below.
