Jacqueline Tribble Wins First Place in 2019 Plein Air Paint Out 


Snoqualmie, WA – The winner of the 2019 Snoqualmie Plein Air Paint Out competition is a watercolor piece by Jacqueline Tribble titled “The Old Bank Building,” located at the corner of Falls Ave SE and SE River St in Historic Snoqulamie. It will be featured on the 2020 Snoqualmie Plein Air Paint Out poster.

Tribble earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting at the University of Washington and traveled in New York and Europe to study the works of John Singer Sargent and French Impressionists. Second and third place winners were Ann Heideman and Deborah McAllister. 

The annual Snoqualmie Plein Air Paint Out is sponsored by the Snoqualmie Arts Commission, which welcomes artists of all skill levels and mediums to paint “en plein air” – in the open air – throughout Snoqualmie during Railroad Days.

The Snoqualmie Arts Commission would like to thank all the artists who participated this year, namely: Kate Ali, Sandy Allnock, Ann Heideman, Deborah McAllister, Yi-Ju Miller, Zoee Xiao, and Katie Yocom.
