Snoqualmie Firefighters Compete in Stairclimb up Columbia Center

Snoqualmie, WA – On March 8, a team of 10 Snoqualmie firefighters will compete in the 29th Annual SCOTT Firefighter Stairclimb, a climb to the top of the 69-floor Columbia Center in downtown Seattle – 1,356 steps with a vertical elevation of 788 feet!

This is the largest firefighter competition in the world, each team competing based on dollars raised to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and clocked speed to the top of the tower.

They will race to the top in full firefighting gear and self -contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), testing their strength and endurance.

Meet the Snoqualmie Team!

This year’s Snoqualmie team includes Chief Mark Correira, Mike Ferreri, Lucas Hughes, Lorrie Jones, Paul Marrero, William Mosman, Peter O’Donnell, Toni Ohrazda, Ben Parker, and Sara York.

Cash or check donations will also be accepted by cash or check payable to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Donations by check may also be mailed to Snoqualmie Fire Department at 37600 Snoqualmie Pkwy, Snoqualmie, WA 98065 or made on-line at Scott Firefighter Stairclimb.
